The national park the brig sail settled down the 5 of June of year 2002, by means of the decree #30479-minae. In him species of flora and fauna in extinction danger are protected, rivers, broken that are necessary for the communities near the park as well as a great diversity of natural scenes that make it very attractive for the visitors of the park, its extension is of 2519 hectares.
The park indeed counts on important attractive natural like the cariblancos cascades, monkeys, small frog green and black, the hill, the highest part of the park, that is a wonderful site, ideal for the tourism of adventure by the effort that there is to realise to arrive at the most high from the hill.
Excellent place for the observation of the natural landscape and the coast of the Pacific and places like Parrita, Quepos, Manuel Antonio, the height of the hill is of 1305 meters of altitude above sea level.
The park is recommended for the naturalistic tourism, educative tourism, rural tourism, tourism of adventure and much more.
